Benefits of Membership

  • ELCR will provide recognition to your organization’s commitment to land conservation in our annual report and on the Equestrian Partner page of this website, which will highlight information about your organization, its activities, and services. We will also provide a link to your group’s website to enhance your exposure to interested individuals, and post relevant news items and upcoming events.
  • Our quarterly newsletter, The Resource, will keep your members educated regarding issues, both positive and negative, of land access and protection. These articles can be reprinted for use in your membership publications by simply requesting permission to do so. Your organization will be able to share this information through your newsletter to your membership.
  • You will receive complimentary copies of the Equestrian Economic Impact Analysis: How Your Community Benefits, and Local Planning and Zoning Practices Related to Equestrian Facilities, which can be shared with your membership.
  • ELCR will provide materials to help your members in their efforts to obtain or protect land and access. This includes the sharing of information that we receive from sources not easily accessible to most horsemen, such as national conferences, government agencies, and funding sources.
  • Your organization will become part of a national network of groups through the exchange of newsletters, emails, and regional conference calls. Their experience and knowledge can help jump start your organization’s similar efforts. There is not reason to keep “re-inventing the wheel.”
