DVD - "Keeping It Green"
Pasture and Environmental Farm Management for the Horse Owner
We'd like to thank our friends at the Hudson Mohawk Resource Conservation & Development Council for giving us permission to offer these videos on our website.

The segments were planned and sponsored by the Hudson Mohawk RC&D Council, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization working in partnership with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA NRCS) that promotes regional, economic and natural resource conservation development in Albany, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties in New York. They appeared as part of the equine television show called "Unbridled" produced by Rockin' Horse Productions. Most of the information is applicable to horse operations around the United States, however some of the pasture information may be more relevant to farms in the Northeast. Degraded pastures and improper manure management can have a serious, detrimental impact on the environment. We hope you find the videos in this DVD useful for the management of your farm. For further technical assistance we encourage you to contact your county's soil and water conservation district.
Sponsored by the Hudson Mohawk RC&D Council and made possible with funding from the USDA NRCS New York Grazing Lands Initiative.
